Trinity River Audubon Center

During our last Third Thursday, we were able to finalize our bird count. Our guest speaker, Karen Waltz guided us through brand new information about the trinity river birds.

We also had an amazing cellist by the name of Jose Estrada join us all the way from Old East Dallas!

After a long day out it was time to dissect some owl pellets! We found a lot of ribs and jaws.

It’s time to go bird watching! We spotted over 20 types of birds here at Trinity River Audubon Center, including the Great Heron!

Today we had some young guests drop by and learn about pigeons and their history! They were all surprised when all the pigeons came back and how nice the birds actually were!
