Trinity River Audubon Center

One of our vendors was from Wackym’s Kitchen. Wackym’s sells baked artisan goods made only from fresh local ingredients. There recipes range Margarita cookies to Salted Caramel.

We had several locavore vendors come sell their food at our Third Thursday event. The food ranged from several exotic types of cookies to tropical granola!

We also had an amazing cellist by the name of Jose Estrada join us all the way from Old East Dallas!

Our musical guests for Third Thursday included several Dallas Independent School District students from Woodrow Wilson High School and Booker T. Washington High School. Thank you guys so much for coming!

Here at Trinity River Audubon Center we have a small pond where are summer camp students can go swimming or canoeing. Today our students, led by Z, are going canoeing!

After a long day out it was time to dissect some owl pellets! We found a lot of ribs and jaws.

We received some youth from the YMCA!
